PSK-31 Digital Mode Presentation!

GTARC member George Frederick will present a demo of the PSK31 digital mode at our next monthly meeting, 23 November 2009 at 7:30 pm.  Due to the popularity of PSK31 worldwide, expect to see QSO's from around the world, propagation permitting !!!!  George will show a number of different software packages such as DigiPan & HAM Scope, among others.  Many of these software packages are free for downloading from the Internet. No special interface box is required to just receive digital signals.  The laptop computer does all the work & the laptop screen will be projected on the overhead screen for all to see. All demo's will be limited to receive-only.   If time allows, George will also show various other digital mode & CW (Morse Code) decoder software capabilities included with some of the software packages.  "Everyone is welcome and for more information please contact Alan Cook at (909) 730-2323.
