On Monday, January 25, Wild Bill Wiederhold, WB6BFG and Ellen Utschig

N6UWW will give a presentation on their latest DXpedition.

In 2008, Wild Bill was invited to join a DXpedition team led by Dick Norton, N6AA, to Honduras for CQ WW SSB. It was an opportunity of a lifetime. Ellen envisioned Caribbean beaches & immediately invited herself along. HQ3Z placed second worldwide and Wild Bill earned his way onto the team, more than proving his worth being a "jack of all trades" as well as an avid contester.

 In 2009, the team went to the island of Jersey. Operating GJ2A out of the Jersey Amateur Radio Club's station (an old signal tower built by Todt soldiers as part of the Atlantic Wall during the Occupation) was both intriguing and challenging.

 We hope you will attend the GTARC meeting on Monday, January 25th when Wild Bill & Ellen will tell us about their most recent DXpedition to Jersey.
